Hey everyone

What are your opinions on child labour?
Ms George, after looking at the pictures, I really felt that we are lucky to be in Singapore.
Its so unlucky for them. I mean we should fine a way to help them but how do we help them?
CHILD LABOUR!!!!!How terrible and cruel it is!I really hope that child labour will stop immediately and every child in this world can live like I do.We have to remember not to take fortunate life for granted!!!!
The pictures……To tell you the truth,I don’t really dare to carry on
looking at the images. The children are really badly treated. They seem to be desperate and as helpless as a baby. How I wish someone will save them!!
Ms George, how do you get the idea of discussing about CHILD LABOUR in class today?I think it’s quite a good topic you have brought up.By the way,do you know that the visitors from USA are curious about everything, from hats to blogging, from blogging to our school? However,I think they are cool!!
whew im glad i live in singapore where i am safe
im so sorry for them i wish i could help them
i feel terribly sorry for them i wish i could save them
Child labour really should be stopped! How cruel….
Hey Miss George, I really feel sorry for these children! Lets talk about blogging about child labour !
”A boy who does not know his ABCs when twelve years old?????? Impossible! He must have a really bbaaadddd owner….”thought Rachel thoughtfully….
Get a lifeguard everyone! Save the children!!!!!!!!!!
Is there a way we can help them?We are very lucky to be in Singapore…
I feel that child labor is not to be taken lightly and we should do something about it. Children are not born into this world to be ill-treated. We can actually start a petition to prove to the world that child labor is NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!
That’s really bad. That boy sure needs help. It’s crazy talk.
I really hope that he won’t die from exhaustion.
I also would like more English lessons like that.
Oh yeah…… I just wanted to wish you a happy THAIPOOSAM!!!
-Abhilash
oh my god he does not know how to read or talk????
” *Sigh* I feel really bad for them! ow pitiful! The pictures almost brought me to tears! *Sniff* …………… How I wish I could help them. Could you tell me how I could HELP them!
” *Sigh* I feel very sorry for them. They are very pitiful. Those pictures almost brought me to tears. *Sniff!*How I wish I could HELP them!!!!!!!!!
How bad
POOR things
” *Sniff* I hope I could HELP them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How PITIFUL!!!! I feel very UPSET!”
Miss george i guess u decided not to change the blog’s adress =D
. As for me im creating my own blog but using blogger.
How I wish there will be a way to save those children as soon as posible…..
Miss George what can we do to stop child labor? I cant believe that children in other countries are so ill-treated. And at 12 yrs old (primary 5) they still dont know their alphabets. I cant imagine how hard it will be for them to support their family when they grow up.
Well…….So many people interested in Child Labour!!Such a good topic,Ms George!!
THEY ARE SUCH POOR LITTLE CHILDREN THAT ARE ILL-TREATED! HOW PITIFUL!
Hey Miss George!
Would you mind me joining the discussion? haha
miss class discussion alot!
i think…. it’s pitiful of them, that they cant have education.
but, its also an advantage for them, as they get to learn how to be independant and responsible at such a young age.
its something singapore kids do not experience.
when these children grow up, they would be very experience in business like mechanism or other jobs. they could even leave their owners to strive for their own future.
it does.nt matter if they do not have money or a place to stay. if they are keen to leave their evil owners and strive hard for the sake of themselves, it is really worth it!
it is certainly saddening that their owners treat the children badly, but i gurantee that through all these painful experience, they would have a never say die attitude. of course they do not need to have these painful experiences to have a never say die attitude. its just that, they do not have choices like we do.
Hi Miss George!!
I’m surprised to know that you’re actually still using this blog:) Now, about the child labour thingy: I actually pity those children in the pictures(sad to say i did not really read all of it, because… well… i’m lazy, hehe)
Well, if I’m not wrong, the children worked because their family did not have enough money? I think so… But I still find it pitiful that the children have to work at such young age… Just imagine how lucky WE are.
Ooh, and is it OK if I join in the class discussions next time, too, pleeease? My teachers this year obviously did not create class blogs, so yeah..
~Pameyla:)
Hey Miss George, what about me
can I also join in discussion? It’s no longer fun without blogging in the picture. just being a busybody, are there any money fanatic in your class that is just like Jerry a.k.a. MOUSE / IT.
Anyway, back to the discussion, it’s very pitiful for children at ages like that to not have an education like us. They don’t even know their ABC’s. How I wish all these horid things will stop one fine day.
I feel so sorry for them……we are so fortunate to live in Singapore…thanx for sharing this with us.
hi miss george im so glad you got married but isnt your new name a tad too long and sounds a bit strange. But besides that how is your husband like? Can you show us a picture of him or create a blog about him? I REALLY want to see how he is like.
oh, and miss george can you create more blogs like this because now we know what is happening in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!
HI MISS GEORGE !!!!!!! CAN YOU PLEASE CREATE MORE BLOGS?
I really wish that child labour could be stopped. We should let other children have a happy childhood. I would not like to be treated badly myself.
I think people should not be treated badly as it is cruel to do such things
Hey Miss George ![]()
I think that child labour is very very bad as it consists of torturing. Children have children rights too.
Child Labour is bad… Nothing but PURE BAD. Think of all the poor children being tortured by horrifing adults. The children could hate them… If I was trapped in Child Labour, I guess I will be trapped in stress and unhappiness!
I wish that there was a way to put a stop to it………….

Miss. George what’s child labour i dunno o.O
Hey, this is unfair. I strongly feel that all children should be treated in the same way. Wonder how the children who are experiencing this horrible situation feel…We should not take everything for granted just because we live in Singapore and that our families are not as poor as them. If I were an adult, I will try my best to get this children free…
LOL,
